Tribe Multimedia LLC ("we," "us") built the PrePack app ("PrePack"). This policy explains what information PrePack handles and why. We built PrePack to collect as little as possible: your trips and packing lists live on your device, not on our servers.
Account information. When you create an account we receive your email address and, optionally, your name. We use a third-party sign-in provider (Google Firebase Authentication) to sign you in with Apple, Google, or email and password. Your email is used to keep you signed in and to contact you about the app.
Location and places. If you allow it, PrePack uses your device's location to show the weather where you currently are. To retrieve forecasts, the coordinates of your current location and of the cities on your trips are sent to our weather providers, Apple Weather (WeatherKit) and Open-Meteo, which return the forecast for that place. We do not store your location on our servers and we do not use it to track you.
Trips, airports, and packing lists. The trips you create, airports you select, and packing lists you build are stored only on your device using Apple's on-device database. We do not upload or store this content on our servers.
Schedule photos (Pro). If you use the schedule-import feature, the photo is read on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition to detect airport codes and dates. PrePack never extracts or stores crew names, and the photo is not uploaded to us.
Subscriptions. Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Your on-device data remains until you delete a trip or list, or delete the app. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile, Delete Account, which removes your account from our authentication provider and clears the data stored on your device.
PrePack is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
